This antique vice clamp is made of cast iron and cast into the body is “E.C.STEARNS&CO. SYRACUSE,N.Y.”. It dates to around 1910, and the patent is from August 1899. It is in good condition and all parts move freely on the clamp. This mounts on a bench and is used to clamp the blade of a hand saw for sharpening. This measures 13 inches long overall and the clamp opening is 11 inches wide by 3/16”. It weighs 4 lb 3 oz.
