Hi! I’m a woodworker who enjoys collecting and using vintage hand tools. I’ve always appreciated the history behind these old tools, the craftsmanship that went into making them, and how well they still work today. There’s something special about giving a good old tool another life in the workshop.
Sargent VBM No. 409 bench plane in good condition. I removed the surface corrosion from the sole and both cheeks. Rear tote is damaged and will need repair and it has a Stanley iron; otherwise this looks like a nice candidate to clean up, sharpen and put back to work. Good vintage American-made plane for a user or restoration.
Check out my other listings. Item will be securely packed and ship quickly via UPS or USPS. I will combine shipping on multiple orders when possible. I will refund any shipping cost overage on combined orders placed at the same time. Shipping to lower 48 only please.
