Retired Archaeologist now working for city of Lexington Engineering Dept. Have done carpenter and woodworking for a long time, just switched over to hand tools several years ago. But now my health has changed, I have no kids and if Gods will, I will be retiring and moving to Philippines in 2028. So I am slowly selling off tools (and other things) that I know I will not be hauling across the world.
Millers Falls #75 Block Plane. From what I can read on the MIllers Falls oldtoolheaven site, this was made between 1949 and 1965
I like Millers Falls tools, I prefer them over Stanley, no idea why, maybe it's casue my 1st hand plane as a Craftsman millers falls made.
Make a great user plane for your tool kit, just tune it up and go...
I used to buy large lots/collections of tools, take out what I wanted and sell what I did not need/want. I need to clear out a bunch of tools due to as soon as I get my health straightened out we may be retiring and moving to the Philippines by 2028. If my health don't straighten out, then well I need to get rid of stuff anyway..
