Keen Kutter KK7 Jointer Plane Corrugated Early Model 1906-1909 Sharp Tuned

Up for sale is a super nice old Keen Kutter KK7 jointer plane. It has a corrugated sole. I stripped off the little Japanning off it and painted it with 5 coats of Dupli-color 1635 high heat Ford engine paint. I have also sharpened the iron and it is razor sharp. I have lapped the sole and it is flat. I have also lapped the chip breaker and lever cap so they fit tight to the iron. The tote and knob are crack free and in great shape. The knob is rosewood and the tote is a replacement and I think it is beech wood. I have included the old tote that is made of rosewood and has a partical sticker on one side. I started a repair on the toe on the bottom and a large piece came off on the left side and I don't have the parts to fix it. I did epoxy a mahogany piece on the toe. From my research I believe this plane was made by the Ohio Tool Co. from 1906-1909. This is because it has the old 8 pad frog seat, no frog adj. feature and has a very thick tapered iron. The iron is about twice as thick as a standard Stanley iron. Message me with any questions or if you have additional info on the plane, as I am no expert. Keen Kutter tools were made for E.C. Simmons of St.Louis.
