Hi! I’m a woodworker who enjoys collecting and using vintage hand tools. I’ve always appreciated the history behind these old tools, the craftsmanship that went into making them, and how well they still work today. There’s something special about giving a good old tool another life in the workshop.
This unmarked 5/8" mortise chisel is a heavy-duty tool built for chopping deep, square woodworking joints. The thick steel blade is engineered to lever out waste material without flexing under pressure, though it will need a quick honing before its next use. The wooden handle is in good condition with a traditional leather cap designed to withstand repeated mallet blows.
Check out my other listings. Item will be securely packed and ship quickly via UPS Ground Saver. I will combine shipping on multiple orders when possible. I will refund any shipping cost overage on combined orders placed at the same time. Shipping to lower 48 only please.
