Really nice 1-1/2" Antique Stanley Sweetheart No. 20 Everlasting Firmer Chisel. This one has the Stanley Sweetheart logo on the ferrule, along with Made in USA, three patent dates, and a Patent Applied For line. Slightly above the Sweetheart logo, it is stamped with "IMPERFECT". Not exactly sure why it was marked imperfect, but there is some light pitting that could be the result of a casting defect. The handle on this one has sustained some damage over the years from use with a mallet, but it still feels solid and does not move around on the shaft at all. Caution: This chisel has been sharpened to a razor edge. To protect the cutting edge (as well as your fingers as you open the box), the chisel has been coated with a high quality plastic/wax coating. The coating will peel off cleanly when ready, leaving no residue behind.
