A solid 1-3/4" wide replacement lever cap for Stanley's No. 3 and No. 5-1/4 metallic bench planes. It has some wear but no damage and it works perfectly. It was salvaged from a type 17 plane and has the patent number in the recess on the back. It will also work fine with types 16-19 as the specs are all the same - only the markings (and, in some cases the finish) would be different.
