A solid original replacement frog assembly for Stanley's No. 4 and No. 5 bench planes. It was salvaged from a damaged type 17 (WWII-era) plane and the combination of features is only correct for a type 17 Plane. The depth adjusting nut is Bakelite rather than brass - which is a version Stanley switched to during WWII. It does not have the frog adjusting screw, which is a feature that was dropped for a short time during the war. It is in Good Plus condition with no damage. It works perfectly.
